Merry Christmas!

From 2010

This came from our Ward Christmas party. We were supposed to wear ugly sweaters and we had no idea pictures would be involved. :) I guess it still works, it's still cool, no?

So in other news for those that come here for that sort of thing:
Shara's at her last day of classes right now (for the semester). I'm excited to see it done. This means only one more semester for her, and working on her BFA project. Her planned graduation is next year this time.

Brandon has learned to use the word no, he learned it back around Thanksgiving time. He used it extensively for a while but now just uses it when he doesn't want to do something, or wants to do something and we are stopping him. It's interesting that he's waiting this long to learn it, it seems like something kids usually learn pretty quick!

The fun of coloring has entered Brandon's life as well. It started before Thanksgiving as well, realizing he could draw with certain tools. He left pencil marks on the wall of both grandma's houses. Then the Sunday after Thanksgiving a friend let Brandon play with their crayons during sacrament. It was a pain getting them back, he was so excited for them!!! He could draw in color, not just black lines!! :)

Now he asks to draw about twice a week, but we only have black pens for him to draw with. Hopefully we can get him some crayons, I'm sure he'll have a blast. He requires very close supervision when he's drawing because he loves to test the pens on various surfaces!

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season celebrating our Savior!
