On a Sunday Afternoon

Life for us is wonderful. Shara's plans for applying for the BFA are coming together. She has talked to her adviser, her portfolio case has arrived and is ready to be put together.

Brandon is growing and doing well. He's learning lots of things such as getting up on his hands and knees. He loves going to swing dances and other social events. He also hates sleeping. The last couple days he has made it with almost no naps during the day, which has resulted in a lot of crankiness. We've finally decided to let him cry to sleep to take naps since he will no longer let us put him to sleep unless he falls asleep while he is eating. It helps as he is in a much better mood and is willing to play and explore more when he has more sleep.

I have been noting lately how very wonderful the study of the scriptures and good books is. Shara and I have been working on improving our time spent in the scriptures and the rewards are so wonderful. There are so many good things to read out there! We've been trying to have personal study and family study every morning before breakfast then companionship study every night before we go to bed. It is amazing how just ten minutes of reading every day adds up. It is great that the Lord has provided so many great things to read!
